Aussie Weblogs

Just came across this excellent resource which lists recently updated Australian weblogs.

It led me to this neat little blog called Creativity Machine published by a Brissie local.

Bit Busy lately

Apologies for the lack of posts lately, business has been extremely busy. I guess it's a double-edged sword, I don't want to have no business but I don't really want to be stressed out with major deadlines either. My wife Carly has pointed out this site :- www.mindtools.com which has some relaxation and anti-stress exercises.

This website here for an aged care facility just north of Brisbane is just one of the jobs I've been working on.

Press Release Services

Was just speaking to a friend of mine and they are getting into Public Relations. They are thinking of using www.press-manager.com to send out the releases. Can anyone out there recommend any others to use? If so let me know and I'll publish the list here.

Nelsons Weblog

Just came across a very nicely designed blog called Nelsons Weblog. I'm pretty sure it's the wonderful wallpaper that makes it so visually appealing.

It also has some interesting links and writing there, I especially like the idea of french fries and cheeseburger wrapped up together in one hybrid food. According to the New York Times article the inventors were "Looking to emulate the success of Chicken McNuggets and fried mozzarella sticks". It's nice to know scientists are aiming high these days...

A New Kind of Super Hero

Ever had your car clamped for parking in an illegal space. Have no fear Angle Grinder Man to the rescue! Angle Grinder Man is a real-life super hero / vigilante / crazy person based in London who goes around freeing people's cars from car clampers with the aid of an angle grinder and rather camp super hero outfit including tights and gold boots. Heard about this while listening to triple J. Apparantly he's been getting worldwide media coverage of his antics.

Waimarie Aged Care

Have just finished the website for Waimarie Aged Care and accommodation. Check it out by visiting or www.waimarie.com or go to my portfolio page.

Middle Eastern Drumming Intro

Lately I have been attending middle eastern drumming classes here on the island. It's really a brilliant hobby as it has elements of artistry as well as collaboration and exercise. Not too mention it's great fun making a whole lot of noise. If you are interested check out this introduction page that I came across.
