Netscape turns 10 years old

Interesting collection of articles over on News.com to mark web browser Netscape turning 10 years old. I found it interesting to read what the early pioneers of the browser are doing now. One of the more interesting ones is Jamie Zawinski who now runs the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. The website has a very browseable collection of flyers.

Online tool for checking websites by simulating colourblind vision

Just came across this supremely clever tool called Vischeck which checks how a website looks to people with the 3 most common forms of colour blindness. It does this by simulating how the site will look to a colourblind person. This allows the conscientious web designer to make sure that their website is accessible to as many people as possible.
